Liis has been at the forefront of the fashion world for over a decade. She has traveled around the world working with clients in Africa, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. Her editorial spreads are numerous as are the clients she has worked with over the years. She has enjoyed modeling in Lush, Mode, Woman’s World, Wedding Bells, Real You, Canadian Living, Today’s Bride, Chatelaine and Clin d'oeil among many others. Liis was the face of Laura Plus and Reitmans for several years and is a well known model on CityLine’s Fashion Fridays on CityTV. One of the rare curvy models that works in all aspects of modeling, Liis’ career includes print, runway and television. Some major print campaigns include work for Talbot’s, Eddie Bauer, CJ Banks and Addition-Elle. For a fall campaign, The Bay once displayed a 3 storey high poster of her outside its flagship store. She has appeared on many television shows including Entertainment Tonight Canada, The Gill Deacon Show, Fashion Television, Fashion File, BreakfastTelevision, Canada AM and Open Mike with Mike Bullard. She recently created and hosted a large seminar for The Learning Annex entitled How to Become a Model which was turned into a one hour TV special for Canadian Learning Television. Lucky to come from Toronto, a city with a strong runway history, Liis has rocked the runways for Lane Bryant, Richard Metzger and Brian Bailey. She is proud to have been a covergirl for Mode, one of the industry’s most beloved magazines and to have appeared in Figure as well as in print ads in Grace. She is an advocate for size diversity in fashion and strives to encourage positivity emphasizing beauty in all sizes with her recent projects – The Fenomenal Calendar and Walk the Catwalk.
